On March 11, 2024, GLIN, along with joint co-chairs Mr. Shibasawa and Mr. Steve Davis, visited Chief Cabinet Secretary Mr.Hayashi as one of the seven partner organizations of Triple I1. During the visit, we introduced the differences in the domestic and international situations regarding impact investment and discussed challenges in activities related to global health. GLIN also presented issues related to methods for visualizing social impact and advanced cases of impact investment.

Moving forward, GLIN will continue to contribute to the development of impact investment by focusing on appropriate measurement and visualization of social impact.
  1.  Triple I is an initiative aimed at addressing global health challenges through mobilizing private capital via impact investment, which was approved at last year’s G7 Hiroshima Summit and launched at the United Nations General Assembly in September. Participation partners have expanded from the initial 37 domestic and international organizations to 60. ↩︎
